The Furred Eye Now Available
True Swamp Neglect present their last dying breath of musical...stuff. Featuring four previously unreleased tracks dredged up from lost and abandoned sessions. There's unlikely to be anything else released by these fuckwits, so grab that shit while it's hot!
True Swamp Neglect's carcass re-animated with zombie minions Zaardvark, Expedition Guide & DJ Paul Hanford; 30th July @ Champions
True Swamp Neglect
After a 3 year absence, the dead-eyed alumni of the Ninjitsu Guitar School re-assemble for one more gig.
Expect year long songs, rust on guitar strings, theremin, impossible drum fills and a whole lotta dance.
Zaardvark
The perfected eclectic silhouette of precision based astral jazz make themselves known to the Reckno fold.
Zut Alors!
Expedition Guide
Lee Jones, erstwhile Dutch Husband and part time Head of a Cuban Trojan, lays down velvetine songs of shipwrecks and sunsets for our pleasure.
DJ Paul Hanford
Lead Sancho & ex Brother in Sound recreates the inside of his cranium through the medium DJing, a litany of zestful hypnotic highways and bygone hits inter-twined with the age old music of... whatever.
Just dance, chimps.
Reckno, 30th July @ Champions: Return of the Neglect
True Swamp Neglect will be resurrected from their carbonite state to deliver more of that ultra half baked take on half baked rock in the style that we have all grown to know and tolerate. This is the possibly their last gig ever, so make the most of it...
Also playing will be Zaardvark with their Beefheart-esque french-summer-jazz Münchausen. Further details to follow.

Explore Max Bellancourt's Mindforest with new release
Mysterious Frenchman Max Bellancourt strolls through the forest of your mind, covers you up and tucks you in under a beautiful blanket made of audio moss. This is the prettiest release on RECKNO so far. Don't move any of the twigs: they are all in exactly the right place. Artwork by Marcello Velho
Reckno 13 in Association with Krayon - 10th February 2011 @ Bumbles
Our Love Will Destroy The World - I'm not really sure what to expect from this ex Birchville Cat Motel man Campbell Kneale, his new project OLWDTW has spread his sound expertly thick across a slew of releases since its conception a couple of years back. I'd imagine dude will turn up with a stack of effects pedals, a microphone and seemingly pick magic out of thin air. Opening the sky with luminous rain drops of tone refraction and ......staggering flourish of feedback thunder & lightning, where the point of convergence is so beautiful it will melt your very heart with beams of luminous Sun light brain blister... only to awaken in a room populated largely by breaded males listening to some lunk from New Zealand gabbling in't microphones.
Cat Lady - Debut performance from the newly formed duo of Matthew Shaw (Tex La Homa / Apollolaan) & Michael Tanner (Plinth). Sleep sound narration of deep space visions via slow burning swells of frequency interaction and resonant plumes of bowed strings.
YAAARD - Singing melodies sweeter than the most caramelized True Swamp Nelgect moment to a computer that hasn't even got a RAM or something, its only involvement is as some sort of nucleus to the massive sponge of almost impeccable taste that is the mind of sir Christopher Catlin. Currently riding high on the blogger payroll, but the thing you've got to know about Yaaard is he can't stop pulling aces! Each new track is a step higher to pop nirvana and you've not even thanked him yet.
