I've seen Frances a few times now and I always feel like I'm crashed out in the next room half hearing something that I might never get the chance to hear again while someone runs their finger round a wine glass. This is a good thing.
Sparse, beautiful songs like sine waves ebb out of a keyboard, Fisher Price toy and that voice - gentle yet forceful, minimal yet room filling, Animal Magic Tricks are pretty and pretty unique.
