Recreational Noise Merchants

It's a beautiful thing when you meet people who are so obviously of the same demographic as you that they may as well be family - Wake Up Arthur are such a band; their love of all things Pavement and the general Vaseline/Silver Jewishness of them welcomes the ears like long lost wax from the forgotten cotton bud. They also curated the now legendary Big Ed's Insect Peep Show, as well as playing in 3 of the bands between them (Wake Up Arthur, Kaminjo V'Ling Pow! and the free jazz spectacle that is Grundy).

Other Insect Peepshow players were frentic indie slashers Favours For Sailors, slow-fi canabilist Hardsparrow and the Hellshit that is Human Costume. Although on hiatus now and working on other projects, we hope to once again witness the resurrection of their charms in the future - and a second Peep Show would't be so bad, either...
