Cylob
Having released records on Rephlex, Breakin Records and soon on his own Cylob Industries label, Cylob has been making electronic music of the finest quality since the mid 90's. My first encounter with him came while listening to the Braindance compilation album to which he contributed the staggering 'Rewind' - if you haven't heard this yet hunt it down now! It's an electro masterpiece of submarine style bleeps, restless beats and emotional computer-generated singing that sounds like it was created on another planet in the future.
Other classic works include 'Cylobian Sunset', 'Cut the midrange, drop the bass', 'Cylobotnia' and the super ambient 'Mood Bells'. Live appreances tend to be at festivals and raves so to have him at RECKNO is a huge honour.
