3 new releases on Reckno:
Tuff Sherm - Canal Cloaking C30
Tuff Sherm AKA Eugene Hector is a man who also strolls by the name Dro Carey. This is a sleek 30 minute trip through previously unknown territory that might make you want to close your eyes and dance really slowly. Weathered like a yellowing sci fi novel that lost it's cover way back. I imagine a story in which a robot falls asleep thinking about food and wakes up, drifting through space, on a massive deserted ship. He thinks he sees his family in a room he can't access, he smokes fags and has a wet dream. He passes his time playing grime and techno records on the ship's stereo and paints pictures of what he imagines the ocean looks like.
Head to the looming web presence: the brain so soft tumblr to check out more. Dro also has records out on the following labels: Ramp, The Trilogy Tapes, Hum and Buzz and Templar Sound.
Edition of 100 pro dubbed luxury gold cassettes.
Cover by Chris and Jemima
Blackpepper - Ellipsis C30
Extracted from an old hard drive that contained over 200 tracks that had been abandoned by their creator. The surprise comes in how NOW/Timeless these pieces of music are. Over the course of 30 minutes you get: foggy synth tears, percussive Oriental electronics, distilled beauty, restless jazztime beat placement and free electronics.
Edition of 50 Grey Pro Dubbed tapes in white individually decorated slipcases by Jason Kerley
Ananas Pyramidalis - Live at the Seaside C20
Two beautifully played drone works recorded live sometime in the last 100 years. Side A builds until the tape
gives out and the true magic shines through the wonk. Side B is an audio sunrise. This tape is an assett to any home, like a fan or a heater. Sound as sculpture, move around the room and let your ears look at it from different angles. True medicinal furniture drug music. A hot bath for the mind.
Edition of 50 White Pro Dubbed tapes, each in a unique Jason Kerley cover
The Furred Eye Now Available
True Swamp Neglect present their last dying breath of musical...stuff. Featuring four previously unreleased tracks dredged up from lost and abandoned sessions. There's unlikely to be anything else released by these fuckwits, so grab that shit while it's hot!
True Swamp Neglect's carcass re-animated with zombie minions Zaardvark, Expedition Guide & DJ Paul Hanford; 30th July @ Champions
True Swamp Neglect
After a 3 year absence, the dead-eyed alumni of the Ninjitsu Guitar School re-assemble for one more gig.
Expect year long songs, rust on guitar strings, theremin, impossible drum fills and a whole lotta dance.
Zaardvark
The perfected eclectic silhouette of precision based astral jazz make themselves known to the Reckno fold.
Zut Alors!
Expedition Guide
Lee Jones, erstwhile Dutch Husband and part time Head of a Cuban Trojan, lays down velvetine songs of shipwrecks and sunsets for our pleasure.
DJ Paul Hanford
Lead Sancho & ex Brother in Sound recreates the inside of his cranium through the medium DJing, a litany of zestful hypnotic highways and bygone hits inter-twined with the age old music of... whatever.
Just dance, chimps.
Reckno, 30th July @ Champions: Return of the Neglect
True Swamp Neglect will be resurrected from their carbonite state to deliver more of that ultra half baked take on half baked rock in the style that we have all grown to know and tolerate. This is the possibly their last gig ever, so make the most of it...
Also playing will be Zaardvark with their Beefheart-esque french-summer-jazz Münchausen. Further details to follow.

Explore Max Bellancourt's Mindforest with new release
Mysterious Frenchman Max Bellancourt strolls through the forest of your mind, covers you up and tucks you in under a beautiful blanket made of audio moss. This is the prettiest release on RECKNO so far. Don't move any of the twigs: they are all in exactly the right place. Artwork by Marcello Velho
